Moto2: Marquez tops Morbidelli in FP3

Alex Marquez continued to lead the way ahead of Moto2 qualifying in what was Saturday’s first fully dry practice session.

Early morning rainfall had left the track in a sketchy condition ahead of third free practice for Moto3 and MotoGP but by the time Moto2 hit the track the surface was in a good enough state for the majority of the field to improve their Friday times.

Quicker than the race lap record, Marquez’ time of 2’06.996 places him almost four tenths ahead of team-mate Franco Morbidelli.
