MotoGP Picture Special: Lorenzo makes Ducati debut in Valencia

Two days after the end of the 2016 MotoGP season, Jorge Lorenzo has swapped his blue Movistar Yamaha leathers for a black-testing set as he joins Ducati for the first time. 

Remarkably, despite colder track conditions, Lorenzo was the first rider to head out as the two-day test got underway at 10.00 local time in Valencia. MCN understands he is testing two versions of Ducati’s Desmosedici today, the 2016 bike and upgraded GP17. While wings are banned next year, both bikes currently have wings on to enable him to evaluate the other between the two machines.
