Lorenzo fastest with Smith impressing again

Jorge Lorenzo continued to dominate the MotoGP class at Aragon and led the way from fellow Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi and Bradley Smith by almost seven tenths of a second. The Spaniard, who has fallen 23 points behind his Yamaha teammate in the championship standings looks to be in great form but with Honda not having used fresh medium tyres at the end of the session it will be very interesting to see how much closer Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez can get to Lorenzo during tomorrow’s qualifying session.

Scott Redding was 12th fastest with Cal Crutchlow 13th quickest on the timesheets. Eugene Laverty improved his times from this morning but fell back to 18th position.
