Lorenzo comfortably fastest in FP1

Jorge Lorenzo dominated opening practice at Aragon and was nearly six tenths faster than his Yamaha teammate, and title rival, Valentino Rossi. Lorenzo led the way throughout the 45 minute sessionwith Marc Marquez second fastest ahead of Rossi.

Scott Redding continued his strong form to finish in the top five and take top satellite honours. Bradley Smith and Cal Crutchlow were also in the top ten with Eugene Laverty an encouraging 11th.
