Marquez and Lorenzo lead morning warmup

The morning warmup in Malaysia was dominated by Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo with the Spanish duo leading the way from Valentino Rossi. Lorenzo was three tenths off the pace with Rossi almost six tenths adrift. The scene is set for a thrilling 20 lap race at Sepang this afternoon with pole sitter, Dani Pedrosa, fourth fastest but having shown consistency and speed throughout the weekend.

The session had plenty of excitement with Hector Barbera crashing into Pol Espargaro and leaving both riders arguing over the blame after the Avintia rider lost the front at turn one.
