kent sets morning pace at Phillip Island

 Danny Kent is on the verge of winning the Moto3 world champion and the Englishman led the way in morning warmup at Phillip Island.

Having been almost four tenths faster than Romano Fenati and John McPhee Kent laid down a marker to the rest of the field that even though he’ll start from seventh on the grid he’ll be fighting for the win once again today.

McPhee, who’ll start from pole position has looked strong all weekend and is well placed to fight for a second podium of 2015.
