Pedrosa and Iannone make it through to QP2

Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Iannone made it through to the QP2 shootout after both riders gambled on only making one run in the QP1 session. With only the top two riders making it through from the 15 minute session there was plenty of nervous faces within the Honda and Ducati garages but ultimately both riders made it through unscathed.

Hector Barbera was the fastest Open bike once again ahead of Scott Redding with the Marc VDS rider missing out on a spot in QP2 by three tenths of a second. Stefan Bradl looked more comfortable on the Forward Yamaha and will start 15th on the grid ahead of Danilo Petrucci who was riding at the limit of the Pramac Ducati throughout.
