Dominant Danny wins again

In a field where a tenths of a second is prized Danny Kent had seconds to spare on his rivals in today’s Moto3 German Grand Prix. Kent, who started from pole position, had to battle in the early laps of the race before he hit the front but once at the head of the field he could open a gap to his pursuers.

Efren Vazquez was the only rider who looked to be able to compete with Kent and tried to go with his Leopard racing teammate but with Kent continuing to enjoy a half second advantage, as he did throughout practice, there was no chance that he would be caught once he got to the front.

Kent has finished on the podium at all but one race this year, the French Grand Prix where he finished fourth, and is riding so well that his rivals are being demorlised by his speed and consistency. Kent has looked comfortable all year while his rival’s title hopes are starting to gasp for life.

John McPhee finished outside the points after being involved in a seven rider fight for the final points on offer.
