Relentless Lorenzo leads way in FP4

1 of 1

The headline time shows Jorge Lorenzo was fastest in FP4 but far more important that the fastest time was his consistency. Lorenzo set seven times in the 1m56’s and to compare that to his teammate, Valentino Rossi, the Italian only managed two laps in that bracket.

Marc Marquez was third fastest and could get close to the consistency of Lorenzo but was a couple of tenths off the pace he needed to challenge Lorenzo. It looks like a relentless race will be fought out between the two once again, just like Indianapolis.

The Ducati’s were fourth and fifth fastest with Andrea Iannone within a quarter of a second of Lorenzo.
