Rabat sets hot pace in Brno

A string of fast times at the start of the session showed the strength of Tito Rabat at Brno and he punctuated his session with a fast time on his final run to lead the way from Thomas Luthi and Simone Corsi.

Sam Lowes was seventh fastest but told MCN that “the bike felt great and I spent the day on the harder tyre. I’ve got four soft tyres available for the rest of the weekend so I should have two sets for qualifying. Usually I only have one available so that could make a big difference this weekend. Overall though I’m really happy with today, usually we’ve struggled in the really hot conditions but today the bike was working well and I’m looking forward to the weekend.”
