Marquez leads Czech crash fest

Marc Marquez led the way in the afternoon practice session but with the Spaniard having tasted the Czech gravel traps twice today the challenges facing riders was obvious. Valentino Rossi, Dani Pedrosa, Cal Crutchlow and Bradley Smith all joined Marquez in the gravel with the sky high track conditions making it a lottery out on track.

Marquez ended the session less than a tenth faster than Lorenzo with Ducati maintaining their morning form with Iannone third fastest. Rossi recovered from his early crash to set the fifth fastest time.
