Marquez fast and consistent in final practice

Final free practice doesn’t offer any guarantees but the performance of Marc Marquez in the 30 minute session all but ensured that he will start tomorrow’s race as the firm favourite. Marquez had a terrific turn of speed but far more importantly he was comfortably the most consistent rider in the field.

Jorge Lorenzo was second fastest but over half a second adrift. Dani Pedrosa and Valentino Rossi showed that they could be in contention during the race with their efforts rewarded with top five times.
