Hernandez and Espargaro go through to Q2

Yonny Hernandez and Aleix Espargaro will progress to Q2 at Silverstone, after topping the Q1 session over 0.1 clear of the opposition – but with only 0.006 separating the duo.

Maverick Viñales will start from thirteenth on the second of the Suzukis, heading the fifth row from Stefan Bradl and Loris Baz, while Jack Miller, Hector Barbera and Danilo Petrucci make up row six. Eugene Laverty was the first man on row seven in seventeenth.
