Le Mans Moto3: Miller battles to take win

Australian Jack Miller left it until the final lap to take victory at Le Mans and extend his championship lead after Romano Fenati retired from the race.

Miller struggled as his factory KTM was visibly down on top speed, but late, committed braking saw him take the top step ahead of Alex Rins and Isaac Vinales.

Pole sitter Efren Vazquez fought with Miller in the early stages of the race, before he touched the back wheel of Alex Marquez and ran off track, rejoining outside the top 10.

Vazquez regrouped to finish sixth, two places ahead of team-mate John McPhee who rode a strong race to finish eighth at the back of the leading group.

The same could not be said for fellow Brit Danny Kent who finished just inside the points in 13th position after struggling with acceleration all weekend.
