Le Mans Moto3: Vinales continues form to take pole

Maverick Vinales has continued the run of form that saw him take hisfirst win of the season at Jerez two weeks ago to finish qualifying top of the time sheets at Le Mans.

Blitzing the fastest time from free practice, he took the pole by a tenth of a second from Miguel Olivera’s Mahindra.

German Jonas Folger was third, creating a front row nto dominated by the Spanish for the first time this season.

Row two was dominated by KTMs, with Alex Rins and Luis Salom (fresh from the medical centre after an earlier crash) ahead of the FTR Honda of Aussie Jack Miller.

Brits Danny Webb and John McPhee will start alongside each other back in 18th and 19th on the grid.
