Estoril MotoGP: Marquez takes second win of 2012

Moto2 title hopeful Marc Marquez has taken his second victory of the 2012 season at Estoril today after a last lap battle with fellow Spaniard Pol Espargaro.

Thomas Luthi led for the majority of the race, eventually finishing third behind Marquez and Espargaro. Luthi is still searching for his first Moto2 victory in 2012.

After qualifying on the front row, Scott Redding was unable to stick with the front runners, dropping back in the latter stages of the race to finish 11th. Fellow Brit Bradley Smith finished 10th onboard the Tech 3 machine.

Gino Rea finished 28th.
