Video: Rossi, Hayden and a Ducati MotoGP bike on snow

Valentino Rossi ended Ducati’s 2012 MotoGP launch in unique style last week by giving injured team-mate Nicky Hayden a pillion ride on a two-seater Desmosedici on the snow!

The Italian used a Desmosedici with spiked tyres for the special ride as the Ducati launch in the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort reached its conclusion last week.

The American took part in the special ride even though he is still recovering from injuries that are likely to see him start winter testing in Sepang on January 31 less than 100% fit.

The 2006 world champion is recovering from a broken left shoulder blade and three broken ribs that he suffered in a flat track crash shortly after Christmas.
