Aragon MotoGP: Faubel steals pole position in final moments

Aspar Aprilia rider Hector Faubel will start tomorrow’s 19-lap race from pole position after taking pole in thie final moments of today’s qualifying by nine thousandths of a second.

16-year-old Maverick Vinales looked to be starting from pole position after setting the fastest time of the session – and breaking the previous lap record – with only a few minutes of the session remaining.

Championship leader Nicolas Terol completes the all-Spanish front row in third position.

Frenchman Johann Zarco heads the second row ahead of top Brit Danny Kent and Luis Salom.

Brits Harry Stafford and Danny Webb will start from 21st and 23rd respectively, with Taylor Mackenzie starting from 28th.
