Misano 125GP: Zarco secures pole

Johann Zarco (Avant-AirAsia-Ajo) secured pole in qualifying at Misano, setting the fastest lap of 1’43.247, to start in front of Bankia Aspar team mates Héctor Faubel and Nicolas Terol in second and third respectively.

Sandro Cortese (Intact Racing Team Germany) qualifed fourth fastest, to secure the front of the second row and start ahead of Brit Danny Kent (Red Bull Ajo Motorsport) in fifth.

Wildcard Miroslav Popov (Ellegi Racing) rode well to start from the back of the second row in sixth.

Red Bull Ajo Motorsport rider Jonas Folger qualified in seventh, ahead of Luis Salom (RW Racing GP) and Miguel Oliveira (Team Andalucía Banca Cívica) who complete the third row in eighth and ninth.Maverick Viñales (Blusens by Paris Hilton Racing Team) completes the top ten.

Danny Webb (Mahindra Racing) and Harry Stafford (Ongetta-Centro Seta Aprilia) will start tomorrows race from eighteenth and nineteenth, whilst Taylor Mackenzie (Phonica Racing Aprilia) will start from the back of the grid.
