Le Mans MotoGP: Terol secures 125GP pole

Nicolas Terol (Bankia Aspar Team) continued his dominance in qualifying to secure his third pole position of the season at Le Mans. The championship leader will start ahead of team mate Hector Faubel, who qualified second, and 16 year old Maverick Viñales (SPA Blusens by Paris Hilton Racing), who achieved his best qualifying position of the season, in an all Spanish front row.

Despite a crash at the Dunlop chicane, Sandro Cortese (Intact-Racing Team Germany) qualified fourth. Cortese is not starting from the front row for the first time this season. Jonas Folger (Red Bull Ajo Motorsport) took fifth and Frenchman Johann Zarco qualified in sixth.

The fastest British rider was Danny Kent (Red Bull Ajo Motorsport), qualifying in eighteenth, whilst Danny Webb (Mahindra Racing) was plagued by mechanical problems but managed to secure twentieth on the grid. Harry Stafford (Ongetta-Centro Seta) qualified in twenty-second, whilst Taylor Mackenzie (Phonica Racing) was riding with an injured left shoulder from his crash at Estoril but managed twenty-sixth place.
