British MotoGP: Vinales takes 125GP pole

Spaniard Maverick Vinales will start tomorrow’s 125GP race at Silverstone from pole position after setting a best time of 2’14.684 in qualifying.

The Blusens by Paris Hilton rider takes his first ever pole ahead of fellow Spaniard and championship leader Nicolas Terol. Frenchman Johann Zarco – who last week was denied his first race win after being disqualified for an illegal overtake on Terol rounds out the front row in third.

Danny Kent is the highest placed Brit in 12th place onboard the Red Bull Ajo Aprilia. Danny Webb, Harry Stafford, Taylor Mackenzie and John McPhee qualified 15th, 13rd, 26th and 30th respectively.
