Jerez MotoGP: Terol takes victory in the wet

Nicolas Terol has taken his second win of the 2011 season at a wet Jerez which saw many of the front runners finish their races in the gravel.

Terol and team-mate Hector Faubel pulled away from the chasing pack and it looked as if the Aspar squad would occupy the top two steps of the podium, but Faubel lowsided on the final lap. Faubel remounted to finish 11th. 

Despite starting the race from the middle of the pack, German Jonas Folger finished second. Johann Zarco took the third step of the podium.

Brits Danny Kent and Taylor Mackenzie both rode excellent races to finish fourth and fifth respectively.
