Bradley Smith makes Moto2 debut

Bradley Smith kicked off his preparations for the 2011 Moto2 world championship in Valencia earlier today.

The 19-year-old, who claimed a brilliant 125GP victory in yesterday’s final race, has completed his first few laps on board the Tech 3 Racing Team machine at a cool and cloudy Valencia track.

Smith will partner French rider Mike di Meglio next season and is one of three British riders in the Moto2 class with Scott Redding and Kev Coghlan.

Monster Yamaha Tech 3 MotoGP rider Colin Edwards has also tested the Moto2 bike to give some early technical feedback on the team’s new 2011 chassis.
