Jerez MotoGP: Dani Pedrosa silent on Motegi tyre issue

Dani Pedrosa ducked and weaved from questions about the serious Bridgestone front tyre wear that hit the Spaniard during last weekend’s Japanese MotoGP race.

Bridgestone promised a full investigation after the Repsol Honda rider suffered a chunked front tyre on his way to third place in the Twin Ring Motegi race.

The triple world champion didn’t divulge anything about the issue during the post race press conference in the Far East, and he refused to The 23-year-old said: “Now the situation is everybody is equal, so you can’t say too much.

“It wasn’t really a problem but it is clear something I had a problem. At the moment I haven’t had an explanation why. Now there is no reason to complain with everybody on the same tyre.

“Sometimes people complain only after the race because of a tyre or a machine problem.

“Now with everybody on the same tyres, if I put my hand up and say that I had a tyre failure or something then everybody just that I always complain.”
