Colin Edwards launches Day of Champions fan appeal

1 of 1

British MotoGP runner-up Colin Edwards has asked MCN to help him trace a fan that mislaid valuable merchandise signed by the Texan at the recent Day of Champions charity fundraiser at Donington Park.

The double World Superbike champion told MCN: “I was signing a lot of autographs outside of the Tech 3 hospitality at the Day of Champions last Thursday and this particular fan asked me to sign a few pieces.

“I’m not sure what happened next, but the guy must have put them down for a moment and somebody from the team picked them up because they thought they’d been mislaid.

“But this poor guy thought they’d been stolen, so it has been a simple mix-up. I just want this guy to know that the merchandise is safe and I handed it over to MCN to help me return them back to their rightful owner.

“I just want whoever it is that owns this merchandise to get it back and make their day.”

If you can give details of the merchandise and prove that you are the owner, please e-mail matthew.birt@motorcyclenews.com
