Flew back from Afghanistan for the Donny GP

I have attached a photo of my two sons, Jordan and Kobey with a cracking mad bunch of Vale fans at Donington – what a day it was.  I was back on R&R from Afghanistan and could not miss the last GP there. 

The day was brilliant and we all really enjoyed it, even though it wasn’t the best weather the racing made up for it.  One of the best races this season I think.  The crowd was brilliant.  

There has been alot of talk recently about the facilities at Donington – yes they are not up scratch and are a long way behind other world circuits, even some of the UK short circuits – but this did not spoil the day for me and thousands of other GP fans.  I wonder if Donington will be a better venue when the apparent sport of F1 arrives next year.

MotoGP to Silverstone – what a disgrace – it needs to stay at Donington – one of the most recognised ciricuits in the world – the riders love it – the fans love it – its only 8 miles from where I live – why why why!!!!
