Rain disrupts second day in Valencia

Intermittent rain showers have delayed the second day of 2009 winter testing at the Valencia circuit this morning.

The circuit is currently under a blanket of dark and grey clouds and two hours after the track was open, nobody has yet taken to the track.

The rain isn’t heavy enough for full wet tyre testing at the moment, though some riders may decide to go out later on today.

Casey Stoner was fastest in near perfect conditions yesterday, the Aussie making an impressive start to winter testing on board Ducati’s new GP9 machine.
