Qatar MotoGP: Alvaro Butista fastes once again in Qatar 250 second practice

Aprilia rider Alvaro Bautista topped the timesheets in the second free practice session for the 250s this evening in Qatar.

The Spaniard recorded a best time of 1:59.585, which was 0.3secs faster tha he managed in last nights first qualifying session

Team Toth Aprilia’s Hector Barbera was second with the Spaniard just over 0.1secs slower than his best time last night which saw him claim provisional pole position for tomorrow’s 250 race at the Losail Circuit. His best lap was a 1:59.847

Marco Simoncelli was third fastest in this session on his Gilera with his best lap recorded at 1:59.940, which was 0.03secs quicker than his first qualifying time from last night.

Ireland’s Eugene Laverty managed a 2:03.266, which was 0.3secs quicker than he managed in his short stint last night before crashing out.
