Donington has improved in some areas

We have been attending the Donington Park MotoGP round for quite a few years as a family.

On arriving Sunday morning at our usual time , it took over an hour to get from the A42 junction and into the track, with traffic hardly moving.

There didn’t seem to be as many exhibitors as usual in the covered area.

Can’t really complain too much about the racing (poor old James Toseland aside)and the screens were better, although there’s still room for more.

We left the event just before the podium and traffic for once was ok, although after reading other reports we must have timed it just right.

I still can’t understand why they decide to run the main race last. Unlike last year when they mixed it a bit so some people would stay for the 125GP race.
