Valencia MotoGP: Gabor Talamcsi on pole position for 125cc GP

Gabor Talmacsi has taken pole position for the final and championship deciding Valencia round of the 125cc GP season, to line up on the grid ahead of Bancaja Aspar Aprilia team-mates Hector Faubel and Sergio Gadea.

Talmacsi posted a time of 1:39.029 to head his two Spanish team-mates, with Lukas Pesek fourth fastes on the Valsir Seedorf Derbi. Pablo Nieto was fifth quickest, with Nicolas Terol, Mattia Pasini and Simone Corsi rounding out the top eight. Talmacsi currently leads the championship by 10 points over team-mate Faubel

Britain’s Bradley Smith was 12th fastest on the Repsol Honda with a time of 1:40.528, just behind team-mate Esteve Rabat in 11th. Fellow British rider Danny Webb was 28th fastest on the De Graaf Grand Prix Honda, in a field of 37 riders.
