Rainy, pricey Donington

Just dropping you a line to tell you about our experiances at the MotoGP in Donington this weekend. Me & the Mrs (Dawn) and six other mates stayed in Loughborough and did the whole Friday to Monday thing. Qualifying was great, and hearing the 800s for the first time was ear splittingly good!

I really wanted to pass on my thanks to Donington Park for making me walk half the circuit to get to where I wanted to be on the Foggy Esses though. Being in need of the exercise I did appreciate the route march carrying all our gear, and felt much better for it on Monday when I had to ride 90 miles in torrential rain back home.

Oh and sorry to repeat a regular moan I see in MCN, but £4.00 for a pork bap! Well… at least I didn’t have to queue for 2 hours to have a pee like in 2004.

6/10 for Donington, 11/10 for the riders who braved the weather on and off the track.
