Dutch MotoGP: Sergio Gadea back on the pace for 125s in Assen

Sergio Gadea left it until his last lap of the morning to record the best time for the 125s at the Dutch MotoGP in Assen. 

The Aprilia rider topped the timesheets with a 1:47.611 yesterday morning and today he has already gone more than two seconds quicker with a 1:45.344.

Provisional pole sitter Mattia Pasini beat his best time from the first qualifying practice yesterday with a 1:45.345, just 0.001th of a second behind Spaniard Sergio Gadea.

Keeping up the Aprilia mix up the top was Italian Simone Corsi with a 1:45.702.

Britain’s lone rider, Danny Web, was in 32nd place with a best time of 1:49.234 from his 19 laps. The Honda rider was quicker than his first qualifying session yesterday afternoon and will be hoping to build on this for the second qualifying session later today.

Bradley Smith is not riding in Assen due to his injuries sustained in the first session yesterday.
