Dutch MotoGP: 125s fail to improve on Mattia Pasini's pole setting time

Mattia Pasini held on from yesterday to secure pole position for tomorrow’s 125 MotoGP race in Assen. 

The Aprilia rider recorded a best time of 1:45.603 in the first qualifying session, which was not beaten in rainy conditions at the Dutch circuit today.

Joining Mattia Pasini on the front row is Derbi rider Lukas Pesek who recorded a best qualifying time of 1:45.783 yesterday. In third place is Simone Corsi whose 1:46.298 yesterday carries him through on his Aprilia with Sergio Gadea making up the front row with a 1:46.204.

In the second qualifying session today Mike Di Meglio with a best time of 1:58.929 on his Honda.
