Simon says follow me in Mugello

Julian Simon was the fastest rider for the 250s in Mugello this morning.

The Spaniard recorded a best time of 1:55.660 this morning, although this was five tenths of a second slower than his best time yesterday.

Aprilia’s Hector Barbera was second fastest with a best lap of 1:55.891 while current championship leader Jorge Lorenzo kept it a Spanish top three with his 1:56.007.

Ireland’s Eugene Laverty was 21st after going round in a best time of 1:59.295.
