Pasini fastest in 125 first practice

Aprilia’s Mattia Pasini was quickest in the first 125 practice at Mugello this morning.

The Italian recorded a best lap time of 1:59.247 on his home circuit, just over four 10th of a second ahead of fellow countryman Andrea Iannone.

Championship leader, Lukas Pesek was fifth fastest on his Derbi with a time of 2:00.678.

Britain’s Bradley Smith, who recorded his first podium in the last race in Le Mans, was down in 20th place with a time of 2:02.476.

Fellow British rider, Daniel Webb, was 29th on his Honda with a best of 2:04.850.
