Donington parking

So we are waiting our turn in the queue and after 30 minutes manage to enter the circuit, only to be stopped well inside the complex and told if we are not weekend campers that we have to make a U-turn and take the other entrance. This means going back out on to the main road where they have the right turn blocked off, so we have to go back towards the airport and rejoin the queue yet again. Why no signs before the circuit? It makes me wonder if Donington should really be staging this event.
