German MotoGP: Mika Kallio tops timesheets in 250 free practice three

Mika Kallio was the surprise rider at the top of the timesheets for the second 250 free practice at the Sachsenring. 

The KTM rider recorded a best of 1:24.672 to knock half a second off his time from the first qualifying session yesterday afternoon.

Alex de Angelis was second fastest with a 1:25.168 while Spain’s Hector Barbera was third with a 1:25.168 on his Aprilia.

Provisional pole man for tomorrow’s race Jorge Lorenzo was ninth with a best time of 1:25.504, more than a second off his first qualifying time.

Britain’s Dan Linfoot knocked almost a second of his first qualifying session time with a 1:27.457 to finish 24th. Ireland’s Eugene Laverty was one place behind with a best of 1:28.485 on his Honda.
