German MotoGP: Bradley Smith continues on road to recovery

Britain’s Bradley Smith continued on his remarkable comeback from injury in Germany this morning by finishing eighth. 

The Oxfordshire teenager improved on his time from qualifying one yesterday afternoon by just over 0.1secs as he struggles through the pain barrier following his triple bone breaking crash in Assen.

Provisional pole man Gabor Talmacsi continued to set the pace for the 125s at the Sachsenring in free practice two this morning.

The Hungarian set a best time of 1:27.198 just 0.3secs ahead of Lukas Pesek on his Derbi. In third place this morning Simone Corsi set a best time of 1:27.551 on his Aprilia.

Second British rider Daniel Webb also made steady progress on his Honda with a time of 1:30.253. This was just five tenths of a second down on yesterday’s first qualifying session.
