German MotoGP: Sergio Gadea fastest in 125 free practice

Aprilia’s Sergio Gadea was the quickest rider in the first practice session for the 125s at the Sachsenring. 

The Spaniard recorded a best time of 1:28.025 around the German circuit on a fairly cool track.

Second this morning was Gabor Talmacsi who recorded a best lap of 1:28.349 on his Aprilia with Italian Simone Corsi 0.5secs behind on his Aprilia.

Championship leader Hector Faubel had a disappointing morning on his Aprilia in 10th place only managing a 1:29.591.

Britain’s Bradley Smith was 20th fastest on his Honda with a best time of 1:30.149, recorded on the last of his 17 laps. This is Bradley Smith’s first outing since his crash at the Dutch MotoGP where he sustained broken bones in his left foot and hand and fractured his left knee.

Danny Webb, Britain’s other rider in the 125 category was 34th fastest with a best of 1:32.675 on his last lap.
