Pick your Fantasy teams for 2007

Who cares who wins the MotoGP, WBS, or BSB titles… the real action will be taking place in office and mates’ mini-leagues around the country as MCN’s Fantasy Road Race game 2007 kicks off again.

For a simple one-off payment of £5 you can manage your six-man team comprising the stars of MotoGP, World Superbikes and British Superbikes, and the top prize is a stunning Rizla Suzuki GSX-R600 K7 worth over £8,000.    There’s also 10 monthly prizes.

The game is run online at www.mcnfantasyroadrace.co.uk, so you can check all your stats and rider performances instantly, and there’s no expensive phone calls to be made.

PICKING A TEAM

Go to www.mcnfantasyroadrace.co.uk, and select two men each from the three major championships, with a maximum nominal value of $10m. 

Select your team by the start of the game on Friday 23rd February at 13:00 GMT to begin scoring points for the first race weekend – Qatar WSB. 

If you register after qualifying begins, you will only begin to score points from the race weekend following your registration.

It’s as simple as that. 

Your only decision lies with which riders to pick – do you spend big on a Valentino Rossi and a Troy Bayliss and fill the rest of your team with bargain basement riders, or do you go for the more consistent approach and pick a range of mid-priced riders?

Don’t worry too much though – prior to the first race of the season, unlimited online team changes are at your disposal, and are all included in the £5 entry fee, allowing for a change of mind at the last minute.

After that, you can make up to 25 team changes during the 10 transfer windows over the course of the entire season, with a maximum of three changes per Game Round – 10 windows during the season.

PRIZES

There are some fantastic prizes on offer in Fantasy Road Race 2007, provided by Plantec and Rizla-Suzuki.

• First place

  There is a fantastic prize awaiting this year’s winner! 

  If you are top of the pile come November, you will win a Rizla Suzuki Replica GSX-R600K7 worth more than £8,000.

  Prepared by Crescent, behind the Rizla Suzuki BSB team, this bike will feature the official paint scheme of the 2007 race bikes of Chris Walker and Cal Crutchlow. 
   

• Second place

  The second placed manager at the end of the competition will win a Pillion in a Million – a ride of a lifetime on the back of Rizla Suzuki’s John Reynolds at a BSB meeting of your choice in 2008.

  This comes along with full hospitality, team shirt and gear, and a behind the scenes garage tour.

• Round Prizes

  As well as the overall season prizes, the winner of each Game Round will receive VIP hospitality at a BSB meeting, courtesy of Rizla Suzuki. 

  You’ll meet all the key men in the team, have the red carpet treatment al weekend, and leave laden down with team goodies. 

  Hospitality is valued at £300 per person and includes your pass to get into the circuit.
