Pedrosa crashes

Dani Pedrosa walked away from a crash on Honda’s new RC212V 800cc bike at the second day of testing here in Sepang today.

The Spaniard crashed just before 2pm to bring out the red flags though damage to his factory Honda was minimal in the slow speed fall at turn eight.

It gave him a chance to evaluate his new Alpinestars leathers having ditched Dainese at the end of last season.

He denied the switch had been anything to do with the serious knee gash he suffered in a crash during practice for the Malaysian GP at Sepang five months ago.
