MotoGP: James Toseland keen to get back on track

Tech 3 Yamaha rider James Toseland is looking forward to his first taste of Yamaha’s new 2008 YZR-M1 in Sepang on January 22, 2007.

James Toseland’s first two testing appearances in MotoGP in Sepang and Jerez have been on the 2007 Yamaha.

The 27-year-old told MCN: “I am looking forward to the first test on the new bike. That will be my very first test on the new bike and being back in Sepang we will have a really good reference to see the improvements we have made with the new bike.

“I can’t wait for that and last time I wasn’t too far off the pace on race tyres. My first two tests went really well and I’m quite relaxed now.”

After Malaysia, James Toseland will move onto a three-day test at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia on January 30. 2008.
