Rider injured in GP test

KTM 125cc GP rider Michael Ranseder will miss the German round of the championship after fracturing his pelvis during a two-day test at the circuit.

Ranseder high-sided at the final right-hand corner of the track and there are no plans to replace the injured 19-year-old Austrian. KTM’s Julian Simon also missed the test due to injury.

For the riders who were fit, Hiroshi Aooyama posted the fastest 250cc GP time with 2:04.4, just quicker than Manuel Poggiali with 2:04.7. In 125s, Mika Kallio posted the quickest time of 2:0-9.24, with ADA Junior team rider Randy Krummenacher posting 2:09.8. Stefan Bradl was third fastest for GP Juniors with 2:10.6, Robin Lasser was fourth fastest with 2:11.2, and Ranseder posted a time of 2:11.2 before his accident.
