GP: Stoner tops FP3

Casey Stoner has gone fastest in the final practice session for the British GP, with a time of 1:28.252 on the LCR Honda. Second fastest is fellow rookie Dani Pedrosa, with Loris Capirossi putting in an amazing third fastest time despite skipping the practice sessions due to injury. The also-recovering Valentino Rossi went fourth fastest, and all the top four went under 1:29.00.

Britain’s James Ellison went 16th fastest on the Tech 3 Yamaha with 1:31.050, almost a second quicker than Michel Fabrizio, Ivan Silva and Jose Luis Cardoso.
