Carchano joins 250GPs

Jordi Carchano will race for the Stop and Go team in the 250cc GP world championship in 2006, in a move for both rider and team from the 125cc class.

Carchano rode for the Aspar team in 2005, and makes the move with a team in only its second year of GP competition. The Spanish rider will compete on Honda machinery.

Meanwhile the Angaia team has anounced it will not compete in the 250cc class following the a deal with rider Michale Danese coming to nothing. The team will now focus on the 125cc class with Jules Cluzel.
