Biaggi tests F1 car

Max Biaggi was in the UK on Wednesday (Jan 18) to test a Midland-MF1 Toyota Formula One car.

The former MotoGP star spent one day with technicians preparing the car, before venturing onto the Silverstone track on Wednesday for nine laps. Despite hosting the British F1 Grand Prix, the track is not used by the bike equivalent. Biaggi also had to contend with bad weather and low temperatures, but described it as an amazing experience.

The F1 chance came in the midst of rumours about the future of the 34-year-old Italian. Reports claiming he had confirmed a place with Alstare Corona Suzuki in WSB were denied by the former factory Honda rider on this site. Read the full story, here.
