Rossi tops Brno day 1

1 of 1

Valentino Rossi has topped the first day of practice for the Brno GP.

The Yamaha rider dominated the second session of the day setting a time almost a second and a half faster than any rider well before the half way point.

Kenny Roberts sat with the second fastest time for most of the session but was eventually knocked down to fifth fastest after the last minute dash for the top.

Randy DePuniet was the man that impressed the most, launching himself up the table with his last lap to take the second fastest lap.

Capirossi Spent the session bucking and weaving around the track on his Ducati but still managed to hold on to the thir fastest time followed by Rossi’s team-mate Colin Edwards.
