Rossi takes pole
Valentino Rosi has continued his domination of the Brno round of the MotoGP championship taking pole position for Sunday’s race.
The Italian took the fastest lap both on Friday and in the Saturday morning practice session before going on to clinch pole in the dying seconds of qualifying.
Lorsi Capirossi looked to have sealed the top spot but could quite match Rossi’s final lap leaving him to start the race in second place.
Kenny Roberts put in another strong performance to take the final place on the front row of the grid.
Nicky Hayden qualified in fourth place ahead of Shinya Nakano and Tony Elias.
