Capirossi takes 2nd pole

Loris Capirossi has taken his second pole position in a week after securing the top spot at the Malaysian GP.
The Ducati rider set a fastest lap of 2:01.731, 0.136 seconds ahead of Sete Gibernau who was the only non-Bridgestone rider in the top five.
John Hopkins continued to impress on the Suzuki and will be starting tomorrow’s race in third place.
Shinya Nakano took the Kawasaki to an impressive fourth place on the grid followed by Kenny Roberts and Nicky Hayden.
Valentino Rossi starts the race in seventh just ahead of Carlos Checa and Marco Melandri.
