Biaggi fastest in Le Mans free practice

Max Biaggi has gone fastest in free practice this morning, Friday May 14, for the Le Mans GP on Sunday, recording a new lap record in the process.

The Italian Honda rider recorded a fastest time of 1:35.200, to finish in front of factory Honda rider Nicky Hayden. Carlos Checa was third quickest, just in front of his Yamaha team-mate Valentino Rossi.

Neil Hodgson is in 14th place on 1:36.546, just behind factory Ducati rider Tory Bayliss, and two places ahead of Loris Capirossi and Ruben Xaus. Shane Byrne is in 19th, with Aprilia team-mate Jeremy McWilliams in 20th. Chris Burns is 24th on the WCM with 1:40.929.
